About Your Practitioner
Joseph Lillis qualified as an Amatsu Practitioner in 1999, and currently runs a successful full time clinic in Athlone.
Joe first experienced Amatsu Therapy in 1997, as a patient who suffered back injury due to a weight lifting incident.
He was so impressed and fascinated with the therapy that he decided to train as an Amatsu Practitioner. Joseph had tried many other treatments which had not provided any significant relief from the pain he was experiencing.
Joe travels to Japan on a yearly basis since 2000 in order to keep his skills and training refreshed with Dr.Masaaki Hatsumi who is the foremost Authority of Amatsu Medicine Worldwide.
Joe is a member of the Amatsu Association of Ireland, the Federation of Complementary Therapist Association (FICTA) and Irish Massage Therapists Association.
