Joseph Lillis has being running a successful full time Clinic since 1999 in Athlone, Co.Westmeath.

Joe developed an interest in therapies after suffering a back injury due to a weight lifting incident. Joe travelled to Japan on a yearly basis up to two to three times yearly from 2000 in order to develop his skills in Taijutsu/Body movement which is a major part of Amatsu Physical Therapy attending classes with Dr Masaaki Hatsumi who is the foremost Authority of Amatsu Medicine Worldwide in Tokyo.

In 2010 Joe was awarded his Master/Teacher level in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu while studying in Tokyo Japan.

Having studied directly under Dr William Doolan and Dr Dennis Bartram who are the principle teachers of Amatsu outside of Japan, There Have been awarded the title of Doctors directly by Professor Masaaki Hatsumi.

Also attending courses with Osteopath Bjorn Langhammer.

Joseph is fully qualified in all levels in Amatsu Physical Therapy using such attributes as Physical Therapy, Spinal alignment Acupressure, Neuromuscular Re-patterning, Cranial Osteopathy & massage.

Joseph is a fully registered member of the Register of Physical Therapists of Ireland (RPTI), Amatsu Association of Ireland (AAI), Irish Massage Therapist Association (IMTA), Embody and Complementary Therapists Association.
